Meagan's Vision

Ludlow is a town defined by its charm, its walkable streets, and a community that steps up for one another in times of need. But to protect what makes our home special, we need professional, transparent leadership at City Hall. I’m running for City Council to end the personal politics, build regional partnerships, and bring fiscal accountability back to our local government. Local government should be a collaborative space focused on fixing infrastructure and supporting neighbors. Since my appointment to Council, I have consistently worked to be a reasonable, steady voice. I lead with professionalism, respect, listen to all perspectives, and focus strictly on the structural improvements required to move our city forward.

Together, these priorities below reflect a commitment to stability, accountability, and a vision of Ludlow that works for everyone.

1

Professionalism & Accountability

Budget oversight, stability, structural checks & balances.

Ludlow's Challenge

Recent high-profile departures of key city staff, elected officials, and ongoing stalemates have stalled progress.

Ludlow carries the highest tax rate in Northern Kentucky, yet residents are left asking what they have to show for it amid an affordability crisis.

Meagan's Vision

Government should work quietly and efficiently for you, not make embarrassing headlines.

To restore public trust, we must institute strict process guardrails, enforce absolute budget transparency, and ensure City Council serves as a true check on executive power.

As a public administration professional, I know exactly how public systems should run, how to root out administrative inefficiencies, and how to maximize every single dollar.

Ludlow residents currently pay the highest tax rate in Northern Kentucky.

In a time of widespread economic pressure, you deserve a seasoned professional who will demand structural accountability, respect your hard-earned tax dollars, and deliver clear results.

Economic Vibrancy & Small Business Support

Rebuilding the business district, lowering barriers, regional competitiveness.

Ludlow's Challenge

While neighboring river cities like Covington, Newport, and Bellevue double down on growth, Ludlow is being left out of the conversation.

Lack of investment and minimal small business support have made it harder for local owners to survive.

Meagan's Vision

Ludlow deserves a seat at the table. We need collaborative bridge-builders on Council who treat the position with the dignity it deserves, letting our riverfront beauty, local schools, and small businesses be the true face of Ludlow.

We need an aggressive approach to economic development that actively courts investment and simplifies local code.

I will use my regional government connections to break through local isolation, building the partnerships necessary to draw regional attention, foot traffic, and vibrant commerce back to our business district.

Investing in the Next Generation

Attracting and retaining families, remote workers, retirees, and stopping community decline

Ludlow's Challenge

With an aging population and shifting economic trends, Ludlow stands at a critical crossroads.

To prevent a cycle of decline, we must proactively think about who will invest in and care for our neighborhoods over the next thirty years.

Meagan's Vision

We can honor our deep, generational roots while building a community that appeals to young professionals seeking a walkable, connected town with easy access to downtown Cincinnati, as well as retirement-age folks looking for an accessible neighborhood that has everything they need.

My husband Gil and I chose Ludlow as our home because of its small-town connections and unique character.

When Gil faced serious health challenges, this community wrapped its arms around us.

I stepped up to Council to give back to the town that gave us so much, and I want to ensure the next generation of families chooses to invest here too.
